Yingli 240 Watt Solar Panel
Yingli Solar 240 watt modules provide high efficiency levels up to 15% via polycrystalline cells with high transmission and textured glass. These 240 watt solar modules have +/-3% power tolerance which minimizes the photovoltaic system mismatch losses. The robust and corrosion resistant aluminum frames of modules are tested to withstand wind loads of 2.4Kpa and snow loads of 5.4KPa. Yingli solar modules are manufactured in a ISO 9001 Quality Management System certified manufacturing facility and tested independently to ensure conformance with certification and regulatory standards.

How does it work?
It's simple! We sign up lots of small to medium sized installers and individual buyers to take part in our buying group. While we gather information about each member's needs the rest of our team is constantly negotiating prices with major manufacturers. Once we have negotiated a price, we contact our members to take part in the buy group. Once enough members commit to the purchase, we execute the sale.
How much is Shipping?
We can ship with your carrier of choice or arrange for delivery to your location. Shipping options will be discussed with you at time of purchase and vary depending on quantity and location. If you are located in Southern California you can also pick up the panels directly from our warehouse at no cost.
How long before I get my panels?
From the time you order, panels will be ready for pick up or delivery within eight weeks or less baring back orders. Depending on the manufacturer we select and the location of their inventory it is impossible to estimate this time frame. We will have this information ready, however, when you order.
Can I join if I'm not an installer?
Sure! Most of the members in our group are working installers, however that is no reason to not benefit from this great program as an individual. Please note that there is a minimum order quantity. Typically this is one pallet (approximately 20 modules).
What panel manufacturers do you work with?
We work with major manufactures and only buy NEW panels direct from the factory. Companies include Sharp, YingLi, JA Solar, Motech, and many more.
Does signing up commit me to buy?
Absolutely not! Applying for membership simply means we will contact you when we have solidified our price and have enough members to fulfill a bulk buy. If you change your mind after applying we will simply keep your information for the next buy.
Will you share my information?
NEVER! We are not in the business of selling information but rather working with solar installers to find great deals. We will never sell or share your information to any third party.
Are the panels covered under warranty?
Yes! We buy brand new panels direct from the manufacturer. This is not "B" stock, rebuilds, or refurbished product. These are BRAND NEW PANELS. If you ever have a warranty problem with one of the panels you buy through Solar Silo you will be completely covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Do you sell anything other than solar modules?
Although we do not have a "group buy" program for it, we do offer inverters, mounting racks, and controller units for any size installation.
